Crouch to Spurs?

There have been rumors since Harry came to us from Portsmouth about Peter Crouch moving to London and joining the club. Various outlets have reported that Crouch has said that he is happy at Pompey and has no desire to move to another club during the summer.

I don't think that Spurs need Crouch in the summer. Currently on the books at the club are Pavlyuchenko, Defoe, Bent, and Keane. It seems that Crouch and Pavlyuchenko are very similar players, tall, lanky, and can hold the ball up. And also with the play of John Obika last night we could have another player in the same mold of Pavlyuchenko and Crouch already at the club.

Do you think the club needs another striker in the summer? And if so, who do you think Spurs should buy? I have said several strikers, like Roman Bednar of West Brom or Kevin Doyle of Reading would be good reserve strikers for the club.
